RWK Tool focuses on the manufacturing of a vast array of cutting tools, whether it is reamers, drills, counter bores, back-working tools, form tools, recess tools, broaches or trepans. RWK manufactures tooling to customer prints, and we can add our expertise and suggestions in order to ensure the customer’s part is cut correctly the first time.
No tool print? No problem. RWK also offers design services where we take the customer’s part print and design the necessary tooling to fit the application. We work hand-in-hand with the customer to design a tool that will get the job done. Just tell us what you need done, and we can walk you through the process.
Solid Carbide:
We stock a wide range of solid carbide blanks, both solid and coolant-thru.
High-speed Steel:
We turn, mill and heat-treat various materials, including: T15, M42, Rex76 and M2.
Carbide-tipped:
We turn, mill and heat-treat 41-40 material in order to make steel blanks. We braze carbide-tips into the steel bodies and grind the form. This allows us to manufacture larger tools at a cheaper cost than solid carbide.
We grind all of our tooling between centers, which allows us to hold extreme tolerances on our tooling. Grinding between centers is unique, and we have found it to be the most efficient method of ensuring repeatability in round tooling.
